Areae, Inc.

Areae, founded in July 2006, is working on new technology that will change how virtual worlds are made.  Sitting at the intersection between Web 2.0 and Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOGs), the company promises to create the next generation of virtual worlds.  Areae was started by veterans of game design and MMOG, Raph Koster and John Donham, who worked together at Sony Online Entertainment.
