Chris joined CRV in 1999 with a focus on making investments in the B2B technology sector, with an emphasis on storage and networking convergence and new computing paradigms. Chris led CRV's investments in EqualLogic, which was acquired by Dell in 2007 in the largest-ever cash purchase of a tech company, as well as Pirus Networks, acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2002, and Nauticus Networks, acquired by Sun in 2004. Chris joined CRV with 15 years of startup experience in the data communications and telecommunications industries. Prior to CRV, Chris was vice president of marketing for Argon Networks, which was acquired by Siemens (NYSE: SI) in 1999. Before Argon, he spent three years at Cascade Communications, where he developed and managed Cascade’s $100 million ATM switch business.
