For 12 years, Jon backed teams in almost every aspect of mobile, from advertising to infrastructure, service providers, spectrum and applications. Before CRV, he was general partner at Highland Capital Partners, leading mobile where he led or co-led investments in Quattro Wireless (sold to Apple), Starent Networks, (IPO, sold to Cisco), Optasite (sold to SBA Communications), and CCTV (sold to TerreStar). Prior to investments, Jon spent a decade in media at the Dow Jones Co. and the New York Times. He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
