A self-taught engineer, Guillermo learned English by reading software manuals and took on freelance developer jobs at the ripe age of 13. Today the frontend teams at companies like Adobe, eBay and The Washington Post rely on Vercel to shape the future of the web and to delight their site visitors.

Postman is proof that a passion project can be a business and that great products can be built anywhere. In 2013, Abhinav Asthana (Postman’s CEO and co-founder) simply couldn’t find a suitable product that solved API (application program interface) debugging, so he built a product that did. In 2014, he recruited his co-founders (Abhijit Kane and Ankit Sobti) and Postman was born in Bengaluru. Today over 25 million developers and 500,000 organizations, including 98 percent of the Fortune 500, rely on Postman’s API platform for building and using APIs.

Sherry Wei was a networking architect at Cisco and Huawei when she developed a vision for the future of the cloud. She had an unique insight into the problems network engineers faced as they moved to the Cloud and she left to create a product that would make Cloud networking simple and secure. Sherry named her company Aviatrix — "female pilot."
